About Our Lab
The Bailey Lab focuses on understanding the primary bone cancer Ewing sarcoma. Ewing sarcoma most commonly occurs in adolescents. The Bailey lab focuses on better understanding metastatic and relapsed Ewing sarcoma. Specifically, the team is studying the intersection of DNA damage and the anti-tumor immune response. The laboratory is interested in understanding the behavior of tumor-immune interactions in Ewing tumors that harbor additional germline defects in DNA damage repair genes.
